Wellness Ministry
Practicing good health has a Biblical basis. This mixed group of members and non- members are dedicated to eating healthy and performing exercises that are designed to make the body and mind function optimally. Each participant will discover a way of life that should lead to personal wellness. The Ministry hopes to ensure fitness in four areas: heart; soul; mind and strength. The Wellness Ministry combines taking care of your body, being devoted to God and maintaining healthy relationships with family and friends. You may join them at the church for their weekly workouts.

God's Puppet Ministry
The GP Crew Puppet Ministry (God's Puppets) of Saint John made their debut with a play on November 10, 2002, at a fellowship dinner before a packed house at Saint John. The Ministry began with 6 puppeteers and has grown to a cast of 12. The criteria for participation in this Ministry is that one must be a member of Saint John's Sunday School and must be between the ages of 13 up to a young adult. God's Puppet Ministry started under the direction of Mrs. Cassandra Christie. In 2007, Mr. Darrell Vanderhorst became the co-director. The GP Crew has been invited to numerous events including nursing homes, banquets, conventions, state agencies, family reunions, private homes and other events where there has been a listening ear. On September 16, 2007, God's Puppet Crew performed as "The Jamaican Yams" with the Auntie Karen Foundation on South Carolina ETV featuring a story line on sickle cell anemia.
The Puppet in Praise (PIP) Ministry is for ages 7 through 12. It began in 2006 under the direction of Mrs. Tajuana Seibles. The PIP Ministry has performed as nursing homes and various churches.
